I Finally Threw It Away

October 19, 2020  |  By Digg Deep Fitness & Nutrition
bent fork

I finally threw the bent fork away.

We all have one, and we all hope we won’t pull it out the drawer when it time to eat.

If it’s not a bent fork, maybe it’s a bent spoon… or a cup that’s cracked and always leaks water… or a tupperware container where the lid never quite fits.

Well, on this particular day, I’d had enough.

I finally threw it away, and then, I wondered why I kept it so long in the first place?

Why do we hold on to these things?

Things that make life more difficult for no reason besides just making life more difficult.

So, my question to you this week is what are you unnecessarily holding on to?

What are you holding on to that YOU KNOW is not serving you, but you keep it around anyway? And we’re not talking about utensils anymore.

What (or who) do you need to let go of because they are needlessly adding to the struggle?

Don’t we have enough struggles this year? It’s time to let some things (and people) go.
