With only six weeks left until the New Year, I’m sure many of us are thinking about our goals for 2015. When the New Year hits, we again start our goals fresh, with a hopefulness that we will finally see them through. While it is important to use each year as a milestone for progression, let’s not forget to take advantage of the present. What will you do with the six weeks left of 2014? Will you use them to push yourself even further from your New Year’s goals? Will you take advantage of every day and fully maximize the rest of this year? See, life has taught us to always project for the future. And, because of this, we rarely live in the present or recognize the “now” that has been given to us. I challenge you to use the next six weeks, the 45 days left of 2014, and get a jump start on 2015. Or, continue working on the goals that you set at the beginning of this year. Don’t waste the next 45 days and put them off until the New Year comes. Whatever you hope to achieve next year can be worked on NOW. Plan for tomorrow, but take advantage of the present that you have been given!
