Motivation Monday: Don’t Be Discouraged. Be Diligent

September 29, 2014  |  By Joy Diggs

It’s Monday, the country’s favorite day of the week (yeah, right)! Though Mondays really are my favorite day, have you ever had a Monday that clouded your outlook for the rest of the week? You woke up optimistic for the week ahead, but then slowly, but surely, nothing went your way? I’ve had one of those Mondays where nothing has gone as planned. I started to hang my head and pout and allow myself to get discouraged, but then I heard a voice say, “Don’t be discouraged. Be diligent.” What does that mean?

There may be times when you feel as though your hard work is not paying off quickly enough. You make sacrifices and changes but have yet to see the fruits of your labor. Quick reminder…. STAY CONSISTENT!!! Ever heard the quote that love is in the details? So is SUCCESS! Success comes from the small things you do consistently that yields a bigger result over time. In times of discouragement, keep pushing and stay diligent. Your work is not in vain!
