I Gained 25lbs!

October 3, 2019  |  By Digg Deep Fitness & Nutrition

That moment you realized you’ve gained 20lbs since you started weight training about 10+ years ago.😮😮⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Crazy enough, before I became a personal trainer in 2008, I was nervous about lifting weights. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I grew up naturally slim with an athletic build (though I had lost a little weight in the pic on the left… let’s blame my limited grad school budget).⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I was scared that lifting weights would make me “too muscular” or “bulky” like some women still believe (I was a cardio queen 🏃🏾‍♀️).⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
When I became a trainer, I started weightlifting 🏋🏾‍♀️ with other trainers during our staff meetings. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
My fears subsided when I started seeing how my muscles shaped my body, without any bulk.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Now, I lift weights about 4 days a week and love it!⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Crazy how we can let our fears of the unknown hold us back from becoming better.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
What crazy fear are you holding onto this week?⁣⁣
⁣⁣
What if your best life is on the other side of it? 🤔⁣⁣
