Motivation Monday: What You DO Reveals What You Believe

June 9, 2014  |  By Joy Diggs
When you set a goal, do you TRULY BELIEVE you can achieve it? Without a shadow of a doubt, can you see yourself reaching your goal? I saw this quote in a Bible study guide I’m reading, and I think it’s so true in all aspects of life! How you behave, your daily actions, and how hard you push towards a goal really does show what you DO or DON’T believe.

Think about it. If you TRULY believed you could reach your goal, you’d do whatever it takes to get there. You’d know that your actions are not in vain. You’d understand that everyday you push, you get closer to the finish line. You wouldn’t settle for less. The problem is, most of us kinda believe we can do it, but not really. So we go through the motions. We make half-hearted attempts. Sometimes we’re “ON,” and sometimes not. Sometimes we care, and sometimes we don’t. Is that belief? To me, that sounds like doubt. It sounds like a lack of faith. It sounds like you dont believe in the power of your own actions.

This week, let’s step up! If you BELIEVE, show it through your actions. Make each day count! Your time is limited. Nothing is promised. Nothing is guaranteed. So take advantage of this time you’ve been given.
