We’ve been sitting around WAY more often, and most of us don’t stretch as often as we should.
Tight back? Neck and shoulder pain? Feeling stiff when you walk?
Your flexibility is directly tied to your aches and pains, balance, posture, coordination, and risk for injuries.
Sounds like it’s time to focus on your flexibility!
The first part of the class is a progressive stretch with a strength element. This will help the muscles sufficiently warm up to get an even deeper stretch. Strengthening the muscles while stretching them is how you truly improve flexibility and reduce pain and tightness.
The second half of the class will be a static stretch with some relaxation at the end.
Wake up and end your week with a great stretch! All you will need is a mat (or big towel), a chair, and some water.
This virtual stretch program will be progressive and replays will be available to repeat stretches during the week so you can actively improve your flexibility over the next few weeks!
The program meets weekly on Saturdays from February 5th thru April 23rd at 10:00am central. Sessions last 45 minutes.
