Salata has QUICKLY become one of my favorite restaurants around the city. Though I’m not a big salad or sandwich person, something about a salad WRAP excites me. Salata allows you to choose your toppings to create your own signature salad or salad wrap. Now, I will note that the calories can add up quickly if getting a salad wrap. The tortillas are 300 calories, alone. Recommended calories for an entire meal are 400-600. So, if getting a salad wrap, it would be smart to only eat half of it, and save the other half for later. They are open until 9:00, so it’s the perfect after work spot to stop in for healthy eats!
Choose from different types of lettuce or spinach:
Next, select your veggies. Choose from traditional toppings or switch it up and try something new!
Top with cheese, and add fruit and nuts to give it a sweetness or crunch.
Select your dressing. And not your regular ‘ol dressings. Jazz it up with Ginger Lime or Sun-dried Tomato, to name a few.
Choose from different types of chicken or add seafood. The Spicy Chipotle chicken is one of my faves!
If you’re making it a salad wrap, select the type of tortilla you want, and they will toast it.
Finish your salad off with croutons or sesame sticks. Or get pita chips on the side of your salad wrap.
Salad wrap all complete!
Boxed, and ready to go!
Thanks, Salata! See you again, soon 🙂
